Port Authority of A Coruna

The Port Authority of A Coruna is a public administration that manages the Port of A Coruna infrastructures. The Port of A Coruna, located in the Northwest of Spain, is mainly a bulk port, specialised in operating hydrocarbons and energetic traffic. The port currently has a total traffic of around 12 million tons of liquid and dry bulk, and general cargo. Other traffics in which the Port of A Coruna stands out are fresh fishing and cruise traffic. The Port of A Coruna is the largest Spanish port in fresh fishing traffic and in recent years has experienced a notable increase in cruise traffic, surpassing 100 cruise calls and 140,000 passengers a year. The Port of A Coruna has two different ports: an Inner Port, placed in the city of A Coruna, and an Outer Port, placed in Punta Langosteira, 10 Km away from the city centre.
