POLO Women Powered Stories

What? POLO Stories is a production platform that creates and disseminates documentaries about innovative women across the globe. It is our aim to create a documentary in every country on Earth, producing a rich archive of female ingenuity and entrepreneurship in the 21st century. Our first wave of films will prioritise narratives in low and middle-income countries. Who? The producers of these documentaries come from a pool of well-established and accredited film schools and academies in low and middle-income countries. The productions will be overseen by female filmmakers and based on stories with a female protagonist. How? There are two streams of films within POLO Stories: Education shedding light on a specific innovation or phenomenon related to a womans life and work.
