Florida New Majority

Florida New Majority (FNM) is a statewide voter participation organization, formed in 2009, to empower women, African-Americans, Latinos, and youth to fully participate in the political process toward an inclusive, just and vibrant democracy. Our comprehensive approach to democracy does not start or stop at the ballot box. We train grassroots citizens to be civic leaders, mobilize communities to vote, educate the public to take action, and work in partnership with organizations, leaders, and networks to achieve results. We fight for gender justice, civil rights with a focus on protection of voter rights and rights restoration, immigration reform, and support efforts for access to good jobs with training, affordable housing, health care and education reform. We work with a multitude of social justice organizations and partners locally, regionally, and statewide.
