Yeti Distillery Private Limited (YDPL) was revived as a whisky producer in 2003, from Shankar Distillery established by Mr. Santa Kumar Shrestha (SKS) during the 1970s. The company changed its name to YDPL in 2003. From 2015, YDPL entered the market of premium segments through its flagship blends - Old Durbar Whisky and 8848 Vodka.
