Yayasan AMIR

Yayasan AMIR (YA) was incorporated by Khazanah Nasional Berhad on 26th October 2010 as a Not-for-Profit Foundation, to drive the Trust School Programme through Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE). YA aims to transform student outcomes by promoting enhanced school management practices, and championing improvements to curriculum and delivery of education. In addition, YA will nurture a network of Trust Schools, to promote widespread and sustainable change. The Foundation shares the aspirations of the MOE to produce future leaders, equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills and creativity to reach their full potential, and in doing so help Malaysia succeed in a globalized economy. The concept of Modal Insan is also applied, to produce globally competent students throughout the learning ecosystem exhibiting exceptional quality, integrity and strong moral values.
