Xaviers Association of Chemistry

The Xaviers Association of Chemistry (XAC) is a chemistry enthusiasts club run by the students of the Department of Chemistry, St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, with guidance from the faculty members. Founded in 2003, we have come a long way. Our aim is to foster curiosity for science in general, and chemistry in particular: to look within the ordinary to discover the extraordinary, to perceive science, not constricted to a field or subject, but as a vast all-encompassing domain of constant exploration. To make this dream a goal, each year, we conduct a myriad of exciting activities including guest lectures, student seminars, exhibitions, debates, quizzes, workshops, treks and industrial visits. Our star event every year is Alchemia, the all-chemistry fest inviting college students from all over the city to participate in a variety of exciting and educational activities.
