Women in Information Technology Management (WITM) was founded in 2007 to raise awareness of the striking gender gap that exists in Business Technology Management (BTM) program and consequently, the IT industry and corporate culture. As of 2016, WITM has re-branded from within to underpin the mandate across the Ted Rogers School of Management and Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
