West Lampung Regency Government

West Lampung Regency is one of the districts in the province of Lampung, Indonesia. The district capital is located in Liwa, part of the Balik Bukit sub-district. This district was formed based on Law Number 6 of 1991 dated August 16, 1991 which was the result of the division of North Lampung Regency. In 2021, the population of West Lampung is 307,294 people, with a density of 249 people/km2. This district is dominant with hills and has a very wide coffee plantation. The mountainous area which is the ridge of the Bukit Barisan in the brack rock area is occupied by volcanic quarters of several formations. This area is located at an altitude of 500> 1000 masl. This area is traversed by the Semaka Hemisphere, with a zone width of 20 Km. In several places, one of which is in Suoh District, Suoh State Airport, West Lampung, several volcanic activities and geothermal occurrences were found
