About Us

West Coast Gardens nursery, garden centre and greenhouses are situated in South Surrey BC. We offer a wide selection of annuals, tropicals, hanging baskets, planters, perennials, shrubs, herbs, veggies and more. Our retail garden centre serves the Vancouver and BC Lower Mainland area and offers high impact plants for your home and garden. Our wholesale division delivers homegrown plants and planter designs weekly throughout the Western Canada and Pacific Northwest markets. Our clients include Costco Canada and USA, Sobeys, Albertsons and large independent garden centres nationwide. West Coast Gardens has a long rooted history, founded by the VanderMey family in 1981. As a third-generation grower, Jason VanderMey literally grew up with the garden as his playground. Jason and his wife, Wybranda, have now teamed up with Nathan and Jill Van Huizen, as owners of West Coast Gardens garden centre and nursery, adding another 15 years of industry experience to the dynamic team.
