Warsaw International Film Festival (WFF)

Held for almost 40 years, the Warsaw International Film Festival is one of the most renowned cultural events in Poland and, at the same time, recognizable in the world. The most important features of our Festival: 1. Prestige: Belonging to the worlds elite of film festivals Since 2009, WFF has been one of the elite group of 15 festivals accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (www.fiapf.org) as international competition film festivals - next to festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Locarno, San Sebastian. 2. Elitism: it is the only international film festival in Poland, and it is also placed by the American Film Academy on the so-called Oscar list - the four winners of the Short Film Competition (Best Film, Best Live Action, Best Animation, Best Documentary) go directly to the vote for the Academy Awards, i.e. the Oscars. 3.
