Waingels is an 11 to 18 Co-Educational Academy in Wokingham, which has been serving the Woodley community since 1970. In 2011 it was completely re-built as part of a Building Schools for the Future Programme. With a 30m grant and our award-winning, eco-friendly design it has created an outstanding spacious, light and technology-rich learning environment.
We were judged as Good by Ofsted in 2018. Waingels achieves excellent results at GCSE, A level and Vocational Courses. Performance measures in 2017 place us in the top 5% of schools for A Level and the top 25% of schools for GCSE results. We are proud of this record and continually strive to be amongst the best performing schools across the country.
