Vumatel

Vumatel was founded in 2014 by industry veterans Niel Schoeman, and Johan Pretorius, who pioneered Fibre to the Home (FTTH) in South Africa with a pilot project in Parkhurst. Vumatel has since connected homes to high speed open access fibre broadband across Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. Since launching the business in 2014, Vumatel has been voted the best fixed-line broadband provider in South Africa. Vumatel builds the network in partnership with the community and connects every home, complex and apartment block to super-fast world-class fibre broadband.
