Enabling Security, Privacy and Control in the Social Web The ability to share content privately is being eroded by Facebook and other social media sites. Users have little or no control once their content is uploaded to Facebook and their content is entering the public domain by default. Existing privacy options are confusing and do not give users the freedom to control access and ownership of their content. VIP Room provides the user a secure virtual space in which users of Facebook can store personal photos, videos and other files. A user can invite any Friend into his VIP Room to share content stored there without exposing that content to anyone else - including Facebook or search engines.
