Kressmann has been a wine merchant in Bordeaux since 1871 and has expertise in all aspects of wine production, from sourcing in the vineyard to distribution in fifty countries. The company initiated its first partnerships with winegrowing families in the 19th century and today has exclusive distribution of more than thirty Chateaux, representing the remarkable diversity of Bordeauxs vineyards. Committed to a more environmentally-friendly approach, over the next three years, 100% of our portfolio of brands and chateaux will have some form of environmental certification, mostly in Organic Agriculture (AB). The company is also a leader in the blending of brand name wines, of which Edouard Kressmann was a pioneer with the creation of Kressmann Monopole in 1897, one of the first Bordeaux brands.
