About In May 2017, a group of veteran players in the Egyptian Capital Market acquired NBK Capital Brokerage and rename it Vantage for securities Brokerage. The new Board of directors is headed by Mr. Hisham Tawfik who has over 25 years of experience in the Egyptian Capital Market. He co-founded EFG then EFG-Hermes in the early 1990s to leave in 2002. Mr. Hisham Tawfik served as an advisor to Dr. Youssef Botros Ghali, Egypts Finance minister from 2005 to 2007. In 2006 he established Arabeya Online Brokerage Company, the first online brokerage company in Egypt and continued to manage it until 2015 maintaining a top ten position amongst brokerage companies for more than 8 years.
