Urivi Vikram Charitable Trust (UVCT) is a national level non-governmental organization, with a focus on social and economic empowerment of young adults (10 to 24 years). In December 1990, Dr UNB Rao and family suffered the tragic death of their only son (URIVI VIKRAM), in a road accident. Instead of grieving, Rao couple chose to dedicate themselves to the national cause by establishing UVCT. UVCTS motto is to find ways and means for transforming Indias Burden of Population into an Asset of Human Resources, as a relevant task for the development of India! The trust has played a pioneering role in obtaining a distinct status for Adolescents in the Indian planning system.
