University Securities Investment Team

The University Securities Investment Team (USIT) was founded in 2010 by Forrest Wilkinson and Harvey Powers to address a need at UT for comprehensive investing teaching. USITs mission was and remains the engagement of students in an educational and interactive atmosphere that promotes personal, occupational, and academic growth through active securities investing. Since its inception in 2010, USIT has grown from a small handful of members to UTs largest, premier investing organization with a $40K+ student-run portfolio and 300+ members of all majors. From general meetings to analyst groups to industry funds, USIT offers its members numerous avenues to learn and pursue their interests. Members of USIT have gone on to pursue investment banking, consulting, entrepreneurship, private equity, corporate finance, and graduate school, just to name a few.
