University of Belgrade-Faculty of Chemistry

The major activities of the Faculty of Chemistry in Belgrade are higher education and scientific work both of which are very significant for the Republic of Serbia and integrated in the international, especially European, educational and scientific environment. Educational and scientific work at the Faculty is conducted and organized in the way established by the Statute of the University which is in compliance with the laws which regulate higher education and scientific research work. The Faculty of Chemistry was accredited for the following programmes of study by the decision number 119-01-68/2008-04 of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission of the Republic of Serbia made on 12 April 2008: Basic academic studies: chemist, biochemist, environmental chemist, chemistry teacher; Graduate studies: graduate chemist - master, graduate biochemist - master; Doctoral studies: PhD in Chemistry, PhD in Biochemistry.
