UniTV

UniTV is an award-winning student-led television station and media production facility based at the University of Sussex. UniTV provides high-quality video and photographic coverage of events held by the university, the Students Union and other related organisations. UniTV was the first student television in the UK to win an award for universitys Freshers Week coverage and to produce a video report about a students union activity. For two consecutive years (2011-2012) the station won the University of Sussex student award for Innovation in Student Media and also won several NaSTA (National Student Television Association) awards. In July 2012, UniTV was officially recognised as UKs leading enterprising student group winning the RBS ESSA runner-up Gold Award. UniTV members produced work at and for Brighton Racecourse, Brighton Dome, Cine-City Film Festival, Brighton AmEx, TEDx and BBC North.
