Unicorn Girl Africa

Over the years, the spotlight has been placed on the female gender as regards gender inclusivity and equality. The United Nations has also incorporated this into Sustainable Development Goal 5, Gender Equality, and Goal 10, Reduced Inequalities. The reason for the focus on the girl child, especially in Africa, is to mainly afford her equal opportunities as her male counterparts. This is a result of the years of marginalization of the female gender due to societal and cultural stereotypes. VISION: To invest in girls towards achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: Paving the way for more women in the political, business, and civic arenas is an investment in more just, equitable, and peaceful societies (SDG 16).
