UNC Campus Recreation

UNC Campus Recreation works closely with Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS) and Student Affairs at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We offer a variety of programs and events to help all Tar Heels Stay Active. Staying active includes a wide variety of things, playing sports, working out, dancing, painting, being outdoors, making new friends and more! Our mission is to provide a diverse and intentional recreational program in a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment which enhances the social, mental and physical well-being of the entire University community. We have 14 indoor and outdoor facilities, plus shared facilities across campus. Some of our facilities include the on-campus pools, rock climbing walls, recreation facilities, basketball courts, turf fields, and the Outdoor Education Center.
