The TuaRes Foundation is inspired by the Latin phrase Tua res agitur, or it is your cause. In accordance with this principle, we encourage girls and young women to take responsibility for their own lives. The TuaRes Foundations mission is to provide vulnerable girls (low-income families, orphans, and victims of abuse) with adequate means to graduate from academic institutions with good marks in addition to the tools and knowledge to attain economic self-sufficiency and, consequently, self-development. This mission is inextricably linked to our overarching vision of a world in which girls and women can realize their full potential in societies which respect human rights and promote the participation of women in all aspects of life.
