The STAR Project is an award-winning community organisation that delivers long-lasting positive social outcomes. We work with vulnerable or disengaged individuals and families facing disadvantage. We facilitate opportunity and aspiration, boost life chances, engender community ownership and celebrate every success. Our Community Matters strategy focuses on 4 goals: 1) Tackling the impacts of poverty, deprivation and associated stigma 2) Improving resilence within our community 3) Exemplifying best practice in policy development, research and innovation 4) Embodying thought leadership in our campaigns for social justice Some examples of our work: Pantry Plus Where fighting poverty meets tackling climate change.
