WE ARE THE SKATEROOM. A B Corp certified social enterprise that partners with emerging and world-renowned artists on bespoke skateboard art collections, to sponsor social skate and education projects in at-risk communities around the globe. WE WERE FOUNDED IN 2014. By Charles-Antoine Bodson, a former gallerist who, after seeing the immense work of the infant Skateistan project in Afghanistan, decided to sell a portion of his collection to fund their second skate school in Cambodia. THE SKATEROOM was born. ITS BEEN QUITE A JOURNEY. In the past eight years, weve raised over 1,5-million dollars for social skate projects around the world. Thats 35 projects, across 50 artistic collaborations. Over 200 editions.
