The Quality Chop House

The Quality Chop House is a Restaurant, Butchers and food Shop. Our Grade-II listed dining room is still configured to its 1869 design with the original mahogany booths. Our next door wine bar has plenty of individual tables for 2. Reservations are taken for lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday and for lunch on Sunday. We serve predominantly British, locally-sourced and sustained food. This mix of thoughtfully sourced produce and daily changing menus has proved popular: In June 2015 we were voted 34th in the 100 Best Restaurants in the UK. We provide an excellent, knowledgable, focused-on-details service whilst remaining friendly and welcoming. Our wine list features around 135 wines which we feel reflect the worlds most interesting wine regions and styles - old, new, established, iconoclastic, white, red, pink, orange...
