The Publishers Association (the PA) represents the interests of UK publishers across consumer, education and academic publishing. Our members publish academic journals, textbooks for higher, secondary and primary education, fiction, non-fiction, childrens books and learning resources. UK publishing generates up to 7.8bn Gross Value Added (GVA) for the wider UK economy, with 57% turnover from export sales. The industry also supports up to 70,000 jobs.
