The Pound Arts Trust Limited

The Pound Arts Trust Limited, a charity registered by guarantee, is responsible for running The Pound, the arts hub for north Wiltshire based in Corsham; Corsham Festivals; and Rural Arts Touring, the rural touring scheme for Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. The Trust is governed by a board of 11 volunteer trustees and run by a small staff team. It is core funded by Wiltshire Council and South Gloucestershire Council and is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. The Pound is a popular arts venue based in Corsham and attracting more than 60,000 visitors each year. It offers an all year round programme of live performance, film, exhibitions and workshops. Open six days a week, the arts centres facilities include a 100 seat auditorium, a 50-seat studio space, a cafe bar, studio spaces for three emerging artists and a community education room.
