The Potters House - Lancaster

In 1996, a ministry for men struggling with addiction was created, and by 2003 it became known as The Potters House. The ministry became a place for individuals leaving local and state prisons with no family or resources to help them transition. In 2011, Transition to Community, a similar residential program for men, merged with The Potters House, and the ministry grew to include three residential houses with rooms for 20 men. In 2019, The Potters House built a new Phase One center and purchased a facility for a Womens Program. The Potters House approach to addiction recovery and discipleship is and always has been Christ-centered. By providing a safe place, our students learn how to adjust to a new lifestyle that leads to spiritual and relational restoration. Since 1996, nearly 700 students have joined the residential program.
