The Ohio State University School of Earth Sciences

The faculty and students in the School of Earth Science study the Earths interior and surface, its oceans, freshwaters and glaciers, its atmosphere and outer space, and their interactions with each other and the biosphere. Our work addresses the sustainable use of natural resources, the mitigation of natural and manmade hazards, and the documentation and forecast of global change. We read Earths recent and ancient history in its rocks, fossils, landscapes, and gravity.
