The Manor Preparatory School

Founded in 1947 and situated in Abingdon, close to Oxford and within easy reach of London by train, The Manor Preparatory School is a thriving, happy school of 375 pupils. The Manor currently welcomes girls 2 11 and boys 2 7. The Governors have recently announced that from September 2018 The Manor is looking forward to extending its co-educational provision into Year 3. Boys will then be able to progress through the school to the end of Year 6 alongside the girls, keeping families together. The Manor has just received its ISI Inspection Reports from an Inspection that took place in 2017. We are delighted to announce that the news could not have been better every area of school life received the highest possible rating of excellent confirming the exceptional academic and personal development of every pupil as the school begins the transition to full co-education.
