The Magenta Project

Our Mission is Accelerating women to the top of sailing The Magenta Project is a collective of passionate sailors committed to creating equal access and opportunities for women in sailing and to working with a wide range of individuals and organisations to make that happen. It was started in 2015 by members of the all female Team SCA who successfully competed in the 2014-15 Volvo Ocean Race campaign. We are a UK registered charity, no. 1180719. We deliver our mission by: -Upskilling female sailors to enable them to reach the top of their sport; -Inspiring generations of female racing sailors; and -Driving change in the sailing industry Our vision is To be the worldwide organisation that enables women to have equal access and opportunities in the sport of sailing.
