The name Foreign Affair is a nod to the journey of our Founders Len and Marisa Crispino, While living as expats in Italy, they had an affair with an Italian temptress... wine that is. They returned home with a dream to innovate the old-world technique of winemaking Appassimento whereby grapes are dried before being pressed, in the Niagara region. Today, The Foreign Affair Winery is recognized as a pioneer of this style in Canada, and offers a portfolio of award-winning bold red wines, and elegant white wines
