The Daffodil Hotel & Spa opened in the summer of 2012 to offer a concept brand new to the Lake District; the combination of contemporary style and design against a backdrop of natural beauty, creating an atmosphere of modern luxury and indulgence. On the shores of the water at Grasmere, The Daffodil compromises of 78 bedrooms, a lake view restaurant and terrace plus the addition of two function rooms making the venue perfect for leisure, business and celebrations. The Daffodil is owned and run by the Harwood and Brady families with a strong family run ethos at the heart of the company. The hotel currently employs over 60 members of staff who benefit from competitive rates of pay, on-going training in partnership with Kendal College if required and a free travel, uniform and meals scheme.
