Boden & Davies Ltd was first founded in the late 1950s by Geoff Boden, to this day the company is still owned and run by the Boden family 3 generations down the line. The company first started trading on a small site in Stockport, the operations quickly outgrew the small site and now the company has multiple sites throughout the UK, linked by our large road haulage fleet of over 60 vehicles. The main depot is a 15 acre site at Astley Manchester. At this site we run a wood recycling operation, recycling all types of waste wood. The wood that is taken into the site is 100% recycled by a modern high speed recycling processing plant, the recycled material goes into a number of different streams such as the chipboard industry and the biomass sector. On this one site we currently handle over 600 tons a day of waste wood which is reprocessed and transported off the site on the same day to maintain healthy stock control.
