With a vision to make solar cars a reality and contribute to a sustainable future, Team AgniRath was founded in the year 2021. An official body at the Centre for Innovation, IIT Madras, we push the engineering limits to design and manufacture a highly efficient solar car which would compete against several international teams at global events such as the prestigious Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. The technology innovation during these competitions will then be re-applied to design commercial solar cars which would be cleaner than electric vehicles.
