Evidence-based insights into the quality of education in New Zealand and how to improve outcomes for all learners. Te Ihuwaka Education Evaluation Centre is dedicated to understanding how well New Zealands education system delivers for all learners and how it can be improved. We aim to improve education outcomes for all children and young people in early childhood education and school, particularly those facing challenges. We do this by providing insights into the performance of the education system, generating evidence of what works to improve outcomes for learners, and shining a light on good practice. We use our insights to support decision makers across the education system and improvements in practice. We aim for our insights to be a catalyst for change. Check out our research here.
