Sunset House Recovery

Sunset House opened its doors in 1996 and has spent over the last 25 years helping men in early recovery from substance use disorder achieve lasting recovery. Sunset House is a DCF licensed level IV residential treatment program that is Joint Commission Accredited for its Behavioral Healthcare Services. As a supportive transitional-living facility, we provide care and structure beyond a traditional halfway house. Our on-site clinical staff provides tailored services for men transitioning from an inpatient facility to independent living. We help men 18 years of age and older, who are in recovery from a substance use disorder, and who have at least 30 days of continuous sobriety. The program works by gradually increasing independence among clients through clinical intervention and evidenced-based practices.
