About us: Sun Concept - Solar Boat Builders is a start-up business based on the concept of Sea Economy focused on the development and construction of electric solar boats. Our vision is to become a world reference in solar boat serial models development and our mission is to become a top reference in up to 12m long solar boats and to develop a multi niche offer covering from leisure to tourism and professional boats. Our first models are the SunSailer 7.0 solar boats. These are specially developed to operate in protected waters with high natural value. These 7 m long boats are designed with a fiber glass displacement hull with a behaviour similar to a sailboat and are equipped with solar panels, batteries and electric motors that allow a maximum autonomy (unlimited in the sun, up to 8 hours without sun) and move at 5-knot cruise speed without a single drop or fuel.
