Suma Rural Bank Limited

Suma Rural Bank Limited now operates in six administrative districts in Ghana, four in the Brong Ahafo and two in the Western Regions of Ghana. The areas includes Jaman North, Jaman South, Tain Districts and Berekum Municipality all in the brong ahafo with Bia west and East in the western Region respectively. The Bank has its head office at Suma Ahenkro in the Jaman North District. The Bank was established in November, 1981 and officially started operations on 29th September, 1982. The establishment of the Bank was by the effort of the Suma Traditional Council and some opinion leaders of Suma notably among them, was the then Member of Parliament for the former Jaman Constituency, Honorable Martin Adane.
