Originally founded in 1980, Sullivan Steel is a niche specialty metals distributor serving highly specialized markets. Sullivan began as a business unit of Roller Bearing Company of America, which was owned by General Sullivan Group. We have our roots in bearing manufacturing, but have since expanded to supply equally demanding markets. Our professionals have bearing experience. Sullivan Steel is still owned by General Sullivan Group, an industrial distribution holding company. PHILOSOPHY Sullivan Steel is investing time and capital in materials to solve problems. Before 2010, Sullivan Steel stocked one grade 52100. We have since added specialized materials to support customer requirements, and we continue to add grades with unique problem solving properties.
