About Us

Over Stichting IZZ Stichting IZZ is in 1977 opgericht door werkgevers en werknemers in de zorg. Het doel is zorgmedewerkers een eigen zorgverzekering te bieden. De activiteiten van Stichting IZZ zijn gericht op de gezondheid en inzetbaarheid van zorgmedewerkers. Stichting IZZ is opdrachtgever voor de IZZ Zorgverzekering; een zorgverzekering zonder winstoogmerk die is afgestemd op de behoeften van de zorgmedewerkers en op de specifieke gezondheidsrisicos van het werken in de zorg. Een aantal werkgevers- en werknemersorganisaties in de zorg is aangesloten bij Stichting IZZ. Deze organisaties worden vertegenwoordigd in het bestuur, namelijk Jeugdzorg, NVZ, GGZ Nederland, VGN en ActiZ. Werknemersorganisaties worden vertegenwoordigd door Abvakabo FNV, CNV Publieke Zaak, NU91 en FBZ. De IZZ Zorgverzekering is opgenomen in de belangrijkste zorg-caos. Bijna een half miljoen Nederlanders heeft een collectieve zorgverzekering bij IZZ
