Steele Foundation, LLC (formerly Steele Foundations, Inc.) is a locally owned and operated, design-build foundation contractor specializing in engineered foundation construction. Founded in 1968 as Steele and Moroney, Inc., the company has successfully completed nearly 1400 projects, primarily in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area. Among the nearly 1400 projects the company has completed are many downtown office buildings, government buildings including The White House, National Gallery of Art, U.S. Capitol Building, U.S. Supreme Court, Reagan National and Dulles Airports, churches, hospitals, embassies, and universities. The company has also performed work for major corporations such as Pepco, Bell Atlantic and Giant Food.
