Swedish Specialized Center for Special Needs was founded to help and provide therapy for children with autism and their families. Here in the center, we believe that early intervention is the key to any childs success. A younger child learns faster and more effective than an older child. Therefore, we always recommend families for early diagnosis of their child as soon as they suspect a developmental delay. We focus greatly on the role of families and their impact on the child. Any child spends most of his day with family members, and therefore it is important that the family learns how to deal with their child. Therefore, family members may join in the childs sessions and learn new strategies and effective ways to teach their child new skills and behave in a socially appropriate manner.
