Spectrometer Technologies sells a range of Portable Niton XRF and Infrared mineral Analysers, used extensively in Mining exploration and production worldwide. In mining production, the rapid analysis capabilities of these Spectrometers line allows for characterizing hundreds of mineralogical samples per day. It is the de facto instrument for non-destructive identification of critical indicator and problem minerals, along with the quantification of other important metallurgical properties that can affect the production process and ore recovery. Established in 2007, Spectrometer Technologies distributes to more than 30 mineral-rich countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, a region that produces much of the worlds Uranium, Copper, Gold, Tin and Coltan.
