Snam, a General Contracting Company, was established in Lebanon in 1978. In 1990, Snam entered the Public Sector Work and it was classified as Grade A, for buildings and roads, in the Council of Development and Reconstruction, a governmental institution responsible for the execution of all public projects in Lebanon. Since then and the company has been executing big projects for the Council. In 2008, the company established its branch in Riyadh, KSA, where the company has executed many projects as a subcontractor for the Ministry of Higher Education. In 2012, the company was classified as Grade B for buildings and Grade E for roads in KSA. In the same year the company won two (2) tenders, as main contractor, for the execution of the medical school in Prince Sattam University for a total cost of 124,000,000 Saudi Riyals, and for the execution of the Dental School in Prince Sattam University for a total cost of 118,000,000 Saudi Riyals.
