SMU Financial Advisory and Compliance Team

SMU FACT was founded in 2005 and seeks to provide the SMU Dean of Students with an avenue to monitor the compliance of SMU Student Bodies with the current financial and operational guidelines. FACT also provides strategic advises and guidelines on potential ways to improve the current standards of the financial and operational management of Student Bodies, in line with the Mission and Vision of SMU and the SMU Student Association. Besides representing SMU to conduct financial check on SMU Student Bodies, FACT also works closely with our external stakeholders to organise competition, workshops, and conduct industry visits that would benefit, and enhance the knowledge of the student bodies. Mission: We aim to improve the SMU student bodies financial, compliance, and operating systems by providing advisory and compliance services to the student bodies. Vision: We strive to provide a quality solution that value-add to the school, students and our stakeholders
