Founded in 1992, Side Street Projects is an entirely mobile artist-run organization that gives artists of all ages the ability and the means to support their creative endeavors. The artists at Side Street Projects are social entrepreneurs who work with communities to solve real world problems. We share what we have learned to strengthen the field of artists who work with communities, schools, and organizations. Simply put, we teach artists how to roll up their sleeves and do things themselves. Each year we serve 10,000 individual (adult) artists and over 3,000 children
