Sherwood Forest Faire LLC

Founded in 2010, Sherwood Forest is a 23 acre permanent village set in the beautiful Lost Pines region of Texas. It features well over 100 permanent buildings including shoppes, pubs, restaurants and stages. Visit Sherwood Forest Faire over eight weekends in February and March for a medieval-themed show with over 100 musical, comedic and dramatic performances per day, including a full-contact heavy armor joust, falconry show, feasts, and wine tastings - all in period costume and character. On these weekends the forest abounds with Robin Hoods merry men, pirates, nobles and of course the fae folk. One weekend in September the village sets aside the medieval era and dons its kilt and sporran, for the Sherwood Celtic Music Festival & Highland Games. This non-period event features well-known bands in the Celtic genre playing everything from traditional music to modern Celtic rock.
