Sharjah Media Corporation: A government entity concerned with the development of the media sector in Sharjah. Established in 2009 as per the Amiri Decree No. 25, Sharjah Media Corporation (SMC) aims at nurturing the local media talents and enabling them to keep up with the demands of this ever changing world through recruiting the best experiences, and implementing the best practices of both the public and private corporations in the country, in coordination with the concerned stakeholders.
