It has, over two decades, built a reputation for quality and grown to play a major role as an investor, local manufacturer and employer. A business of which Tanzanians can be proud. From owning a single small brewery based in Dar es Salaam, SBL now operates three breweries located in Moshi, Mwanza and Dar es Salaam, employing over 800 staff both directly and indirectly. The company was incorporated in 1988 as Associated Breweries Limited and changed its name to Serengeti Breweries Limited in 2002. SBLs headquarters are in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
